WELCOME to Fred Berger, our pastoral intern, and his wife Stephanie!  We are excited to have them here for the year.  It will be a blessing to be a part of his pastoral training and to have them be a part of our ministry.  We wish them God’s blessings on their year here and let’s give them a warm Cross of Life welcome today!

LUNCHEON  We would like to welcome Fred and Steph to our congregation today with a luncheon after the service.  We hope you can stay to join us in welcoming them!

SOCCER CAMP SHIRTS are on sale if you missed your chance to get yours.  $10 for this year’s.  $5 for past years’.

TCW MEALS  There are still opportunities for you to host the St. Lucia team for a supper.  Speak to Mr. Walker if you are able to do so.  They will be here from August 15-25.

REDISCOVERING CHURCH  What’s on this fall?  The new season begins in a month!  Let’s get the new season started on September 7 with Sunday School (Moses, Prince of Egypt), Bible Study (Stories They Wouldn’t Teach You in Sunday School), and a Message Series on what the church is about, called Rediscovering Church.  DON’T MISS IT!

FORWARD WITH LUTHERAN SCHOOLS is going to be here on September 27 to help us do the planning for building a school and church on the land we purchased.  It will take a huge commitment of time and prayer from our side as well.  Please make plans to be here on that day!

SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY is on break until September 7.  On that Sunday, we will begin with a new Bible study titled: “Stories They Wouldn’t Teach You in Sunday School.”  You won’t want to miss this!

KIDS 4 CHRIST SUNDAY SCHOOL is on break until September 7. It begins with lessons on Moses, “Prince of Egypt”

TEEN BIBLE STUDY will start up again in September!  Come on out and give it a try! You won't be disappointed!

L.I.F.E. WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY – Thursday Mornings – 9:30 AM!  Come grow in God’s Word with other women!

PICTORIAL DIRECTORY Today and until the second week of September, Mr. Walker will be snapping photos of individuals and families for the new pictorial directory. Please see him after the service for your photo op and chance for stardom .  If you don't, he WILL find you! ; )

LABOR DAY RETREAT Join about 100 other WELS people from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 for a long weekend of spiritual renewal and relaxation at Camp Taconic in the scenic Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts.  If you're looking for one more great event before school starts, this would be it.  Go to welslabordayretreat.org or speak to Mr. Walker.
