It is important to all of us, as human beings, to be involved in something meaningful. We need purpose in life. Especially as children of God, we need a place to use the gifts and skills we have. Those opportunities abound at Cross of Life! We have a place for your talents. And we would like to add YOUR VISION to OUR VISION! You want to get involved? Whether you can help out for a few minutes, hours, or days, we've got a variety of choices for men, women and children. And if we don't have something here that fits your skill, let us know and see what we can create!

Anyone in our church can be involved in outreach and loving service to the community by:

• Delivering flyers to the local area
• Providing food and care for those in need
• Hosting and providing refreshments for fellowship after church
• Greeting and welcoming people to services and other events
• Assisting in creating and dismantling our worship area on Sundays

We can always use help with those who have the special gift of working with children. Also, you may have insights to share with adults. You can:

• Help with Bible Camp 4 Kids events
• Assist with summer Soccer Camp 4 Kids
• Work in our nursery by supervising children's activities during church
• Support our Sunday School program by teaching, doing crafts, singing
• Become a Youth Group Leader for our Messengers 4 Christ
• Share your knowledge or profession with others in seminars
• Become involved in a small group study or session

Cross of Life Members share their musical gifts by participating in:

• Vocal solos, duets
• Adult choir, Youth choir
• Playing an instrument (piano, trumpet, flute, guitar, drums, etc)

Many people who come to our church have unique abilities that they choose to share with our congregation.

• Computer software, hardware skills
• Handyman skills
• Event organizer (fellowship, outreach, youth)
• Transportation for those without a vehicle
• Childcare
• Bulletin and newsletter production
• Photography, video camera filming
• Sound systems, electronics
• Financial counseling, accounting, bookkeeping
• Graphic design, drawing, artistic work
• Telephoning visitors/members to invite them to events
