Updates

February 25

  • Our current arrangement at 20-2900 Argentia Rd. concludes on March 31. We will be moving out by then. 
  • During March we have 24/7 access to the facility. 
  • We are in the process of trying to secure a new permanent worship home for April 1. We are in conversations about this. More information on that as it becomes available.
  • We are also negotiating with both the Hilton and Holiday Inn for conference room usage for worship, in the event that we cannot get into our own facility by April 1. As of right now, we are not sure which facility we would end up in.
  • There will be congregational meeting on March 9 and March 16 to help with these decisions. Members of Cross of Life are invited to attend.


March 3

  • Our bid for 24 Falconer Dr. has been accepted at $2.75M. The tenant still has a "first right of refusal," which means they can match our deal if they want to buy the property. This deal will be finalized either way by the end of the week.
  • We are currently negotiating a 5-year lease agreement for 2900 Argentia Unit 8, right across the parking lot from our current facility. This is moving along well. Nothing is certain at this point, but early indications are that we would be able to start using that facility on June 1.
  • We have secured a large conference room at the Holiday Inn at 2565 Argentia Rd. for worship starting in April and through May.
  • We are attempting to secure a space at 2900 Argentia Unit 4 (also across the parking lot) on a temporary basis so we don't have to use the hotel, although this seems like this is unlikely to work.


March 5

  • Unfortunately, the tenant at 24 Falconer exercised their "right of first refusal." This means we have no deal for that property. Obviously, this is disappointing, but we trust that God has different plans for our long-term future.


March 9

  • Our congregation voted to pursue a lease at 2900 Argentia Unit 8. We hope to have that agreement finalized this week. We would occupy in June.
  • We are still pursuing a short term solution at 2900 Argentia Unit 4. We should know if that's possible this week. 


March 21

  • We have signed a lease for 2900 Argentia Rd. Unit 8. We are waiting on final approval from the landlord. We would take possession June 1.
